My name is Steve Schwartz. I'm a Texas-based writer and photographer.

I’ve done a little bit of a lot in my career, starting with small-town newspapers and magazines, then onto advertising, photography, and a whole lot of other stuff. Why am I telling you this? Mainly to illustrate the fact that I love to tell stories more than anything, particularly those that involve people and/or wild places.
